The simplest form of a speaker, unimaginably, is a paper cup. From the looks of it, it does fit well amongst your working area, and especially so when accompanied with an iPod. And you shouldn't have any qualms about its capabilities in decibel levels, being in the shape of a loud-speaker. And of course, you wouldn't need to worry too much about killing another of your speakers over your incessant music blasts, as it certainly wouldn't hurt your pockets.

It takes a second look to distinguish a chair from this complicated yet beautiful piece of design. And yes it's a chair! Structured from a flat piece of foldable material, it's very portable and space-saving. Of course, from the looks of it, sitting on it could be a pretty precarious experience.

This is not a do-it-yourself lamp daringly made with headlamps stolen from unknowing cabbies, if you wonder. But when every other lamp looks so similar, it's little wonder how those taxi-lamps make their way into the homes. Of course, it won't make a good home-lamp if it constantly reminds you of those frantic flag-downs and on-the-minute rushes.

Motivated to start your new year getting more organized? It's a common resolution, but most barely make it through a quarter of the year before ditching their organizers. High-tech gadgets help a little too but probably nothing gets as simple as falling back to the basics with just your paper and pen.
